We are running a new radio show from 12th January, which is Sylv & Joe’s Book Club’. This is running alongside our other shows on GWS Radio 107.1fm. GWS Radio is also available at www.gwsradio.org.uk and on Alexa by saying “Alexa, play GWS Radio”.
The aim of the radio show is to bring a variety of books, whether print, e-books or audiobooks, to those who may not otherwise no about them, but also to provide help to those who want to write themselves, with help and advice.
The structure of the show is that we will speak with the author either live in the studio or via WhatsApp and have a chat about your life as an author, what books you have available, what books you will be releasing and any advice for others who want to write. This will be interspersed with a collection of music, which would either be the music that you like to listen to when writing, or a collection of your favourite music. Throughout the show, there will be the availability for listeners to ask their own questions via our website.
We do ask that you stay with us for the full hour of the show, so that we can make it more of an experience than a quick interview.
In addition to the radio show, we also have our own local free magazine, and we will write an article about the show, giving further availability for people to find out about you and your book.
Due to the number of scammers in the publishing world, we feel we must point out that this is not a commercial venture, and no costs are involved in doing this. It is purely a way for us to provide a different show for the listeners.
Please fill in this form if you would like to take part.
