Clare and Clare from Glastonbury Pride joined us on our Joe and Sylv Show on GWS Radio on Saturday to discuss the Glastonbury Pride event that is taking place on Sunday, 26th July
Glastonbury Pride has a new venue this year, Tor Sports and Leisure, which allows them to offer more to the event.
With additional space, expect more community stalls, as well as food vendors and ice cream options available all day. You will also be able to use the Tor Leisure bar and coffee shop.
There will be some returning favourites, including:
Free face painting
Wildest Wonders Events
Sensory space by NeuroConnect
Community Stalls
What’s NEW this year?
There will be an actual stage for daytime entertainment
A fun dog show
Fun and games
A FREE bouncy castle
As always, there will be their much-loved Glastonbury Pride March.
Thanks to the incredible support from the Glastonbury ACE Committee, the march will be fully marshalled by the Carnival team, helping ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for everyone taking part.
As with last year, there will also be fantastic Pride events taking place across Glastonbury, including at Queen of Cups Restaurant and Freehouse, The Riflemans Arms, Glastonbury, and The Beckets Inn, Glastonbury, UK
Plus, the famous Glastonbury Pride After Party at Lavender Vespers at The King Arthur
Check out Glastonbury Pride’s Facebook page for more information on these events.
Best of all, all daytime activities are completely FREE, thanks to the support of Tor Leisure, The National Lottery Community Fund, Glastonbury Town Council, and the wonderful sponsors, plus everyone helping to make this year’s Pride bigger and better than ever.
