A huge shoutout to the Meare and Westhay Ladies Group for the incredible Winter Lunch they hosted today (Wednesday, 4th February).
The choice today for a light bite, was a jacket potato with beans and/or cheese with a main consisting of either a beef or vegetable stroganoff with rice and vegetables. My choice was the beef stroganoff it was really tasty. This was then followed by a piece of red velvet cake with some squirty cream. It was incredibly moist and just melted in the mouth.
It’s not just about food with these ladies, it’s about building a community. Huge thanks to each one of you for your hard work and for giving up your time for the community. The next winter lunch will be Wednesday 4th March.
