If you live in the Meare and Westhay community and are creative or just want to have a go, then why not join in the Scarecrow Compeition to help raise money for the Meare and Westhay Village Hall.
We have heard that the Meare & Westhay Scarecrow Competition has kicked off!
Seven amazing scarecrows are already in the works! If you want to join in on the fun, check out the latest Meare and Westhay Magazine for the application and payment form. If the magazine hasn’t reached you, then you can leave a comment on the Meare and Westhay Village Hall Facebook Page and they will make sure you get the paperwork you need.
Mark your calendars for the Scarecrow Trail! Make sure to submit your entry by April 20th, so your scarecrow can shine on the trail map for everyone to see.
After the 20th, a £2 trail map will be available for purchase, perfect for exploring the trail and voting for your favorite scarecrow.
