ITV’s gripping thriller started again in January with Jing Lusi returning as DS Hana Li for a fresh investigation alongside guest star Martin Compston.
Joining Jing and Martin in the highly pressurised rollercoaster world of Red Eye are Lesley Sharp and Jemma Moore, who also return as Head of MI5 Madeline Delaney and journalist Jess Li.
Inside the US Embassy, the celebrations for a newly appointed US Ambassador to London are disrupted when a call threatens to shoot down a British plane if anyone leaves.
This triggers an immediate embassy lockdown, trapping guests and staff inside.
That’s when the murders start, landing Hana Li, a British officer, in a political and jurisdictional nightmare.
Compelled to team up with the Head of Embassy Security, Clay Brody, played by Martin Compston, a former colleague who once betrayed her, Hana must overcome her mistrust of him and focus on the investigation… because this time, it’s personal.
The plane set to be destroyed is a government jet, with Director General Madeline Delaney on board. As a killer causes chaos inside the Embassy and evades capture at every turn, Hana and Brody must uncover who is behind the deadly scheme before the hostages in the Embassy and the passengers on Delaney’s plane run out of time.
Available on ITVX, there are two series to enjoy, each containing 6 episodes.
