Written and brought to life by BAFTA-nominated Tony Schumacher (The Responder) and produced by Element Pictures, the Oscar-winning company under Fremantle (known for Poor Things and Normal People), this series is available on BBC iPlayer and BBC One.
The Cage is a gripping, high-energy crime drama set in the vibrant world of a Liverpool casino, centred on two unforgettable characters.
Leanne (Sheridan Smith) and Matty (Michael Socha) find themselves in a tense situation when they discover they are both stealing from the safe at the bustling inner-city casino where they work. Their lives rapidly head towards a collision—with each other, the local gangster they’re secretly robbing, and the police.
The Cage starts on Sunday, 26th April, at 6 am on BBC iPlayer and at 9 pm on BBC One.
