Anti-Bullying Week 2025: Power for Good

The ABA proudly organises Anti-Bullying Week and Odd Socks Day for England, Wales, and Northern Ireland!

Mark your calendars for Anti-Bullying Week 2025, happening from tomorrow Monday, November 10th to Friday, November 14th. This year’s theme is “Power for Good.” They will kick off the week on Monday with Odd Socks Day, where everyone—both kids and adults—are invited to wear mismatched socks to celebrate our uniqueness. Let’s embrace what makes us different together!

The theme “Power for Good” was developed after discussions with both teachers and students by the Anti-Bullying Alliance, which organises Anti-Bullying Week annually in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Educators and kids expressed a strong desire for a theme that would inspire them to take positive action against the pain and damage caused by bullying.

Building on the amazing success of the campaign last year—when more than 80% of schools took part, reaching over 7.5 million kids and teens—they are excited to continue this journey! This year, they are all about empowering young people to harness their Power for Good. It’s time to encourage them to speak up, lend a hand to others, and create a world where kindness truly prevails. Let’s make it happen together!

Just like every year, schools can access FREE teaching resources and themed assemblies aimed at empowering people to use their Power for Good and combat bullying. They are also launching a media, social media, and community campaign to bring Anti-Bullying Week to life, whether you’re at home, at work, or in school.
