From 10 am, you’ll be immersed in the festive spirit as local vendors showcase their unique stalls filled with handmade crafts, delicious foods, and seasonal treats. Take a stroll through the High Street and engage with talented artisans, each sharing their passion and creativity. Join in for the exciting official opening at midday by the Mayor at the Melodrome Stage, where you can catch the cheerful atmosphere building up to the big event. As the sun sets, gear up for the thrilling Christmas lights switch-on at 5 pm, igniting the season with a magical glow. Enjoy live performances, delightful music, and fun activities for the kids throughout the afternoon. The festivities wrap up at 6 pm, ensuring everyone leaves with a heart full of joy and the spirit of goodwill.

A festive extravaganza at Abbey House with Father Christmas and his merry helpers, available for bookings through Glastonbury Abbey! All day long, enjoy the vibrant atmosphere with live buskers at the Busk Stop outside St. John’s Church, and don’t miss dynamic street performances! Feel the holiday spirit come alive as amazing live performances across five stages—Benedict Street, Magdalene Street, Northload Street, Archers Way, and the Melodrome Stage at the top of the High Street! This is a “Park n Ride” service running from Herbies Field to St. John’s Car Park from 8 am to 7:30 pm. There is also an overflow car park at Butlers Carnival Park and Tor Rugby Club! Donations are appreciated (suggested £5), and parking is available at the back of Tor Leisure by the Scout Hut. Kids will love the fairground rides in St. Dunstan’s Car Park and the engaging Children’s Worlds crafts, shows, and storytelling in the Small Hall. Plus, explore even more stalls at the Glastonbury Assembly Rooms, United Reformed Church, and St John’s Church. It’s a winter wonderland filled with fun for all ages!
