Sky reveals the first teaser for Crystal Lake, an exciting new series from A24 created, written, and showrunner Brad Caleb Kane (It: Welcome to Derry, Warrior).
This intense addition to the iconic Friday the 13th universe is a highly anticipated eight-part series starring Emmy nominee Linda Cardellini (DTF St. Louis, Dead To Me), which will be available exclusively on Sky and the streaming platform NOW in the UK and Ireland starting this October.
Serving as a prequel to the Friday the 13th franchise, Crystal Lake follows single mother Pam Voorhees (Linda Cardellini), still haunted by her grief after her young, ill son Jason tragically drowned in the town lake nearly a year earlier.
When two strangers arrive at her door investigating her past, a disturbing chain of events is triggered, leaving the town residents wondering: who exactly is Pam Voorhees?
Featuring William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins, and Gwendolyn Sundstrom, Crystal Lake expands the franchise’s mythology by combining psychological suspense, mystery, and emotional depth with the legacy that has fascinated audiences for generations.
