Somerset Council is asking Somerset residents to share their views on possible changes to the Council Tax Reduction scheme for working-age adults on low incomes.
The proposals would change how support is calculated from 2027/28, with some options reducing support in certain areas to provide more help for people considered most vulnerable.
Support for pensioners would not be affected, and no decisions have been made.
Your feedback will help shape the final scheme, so please respond by Monday 28 September 2026.
